Food For Thought: “Everything is energy! Your thoughts begin it. Your emotions amplify it. And, your actions increases its momentum!’ #ThinkAboutThat

In 2019, I promised myself that I would always write from a place of passion, and I boldly declared that I would never hold anything back!

I am a recovering people-pleaser who used to be incapable of saying “no” to other people. In order for me to walk in my God-given purpose, and/or live out my full potential, I had to “evolve.” I had to realize that, “I am not for everyone!” #CanYouRelate

This quote by Rebecca Campbell sums up that revelation perfectly. It states; “You are not for everyone”

The world is filled with people who, no matter what you do, will point blank-not like you. But it is also filled with those who will love you fiercely. They are your people. You are not for everyone and that’s ok. Talk to the people who can hear you.”

“Don’t waste precious time and gifts trying to convince them of your value, they won’t ever want what you are selling. Don’t convince them to walk alongside you. You’ll be wasting both your time and theirs. And will likely inflicts unnecessary wounds. Which will take precious time to heal. You are not for them and they are not for you. Politely wave them on, and continue along your way. Sharing your path with someone is a sacred gift. Don’t cheapen this gift by rolling yours in the wrong direction.”

I want to encourage you to, “Live your truth, Always!”

Galatians 6:4-5 says, “Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.”

I know that this blog may not be for everyone, and I am ok with that. Freedom comes when you decide to take responsibility for your own life and your own happiness.

When you are around the right people you feel, “inspired.” The wrong ones, “drained!” I’ve heard it said before (by someone that I respect greatly) that we must; “be selective, in order to be effective!” I didn’t get it then, I do now.

“Energy is everything!”

I believe that our best days are always ahead! So surround yourself with those that inspire you (mentors, great books and great friends) – and, “Keep it Moving!” We have work to do!
