Food For Thought: The body achieves what the mind believes.

2019 is off to a great start. Although, it has not been easy (early morning workouts can be a challenge | especially during snow storms and in the bitter cold). But, I am progressing and moving forward in the area of “Health and Fitness!”  

I believe that I am one step closer to my second half-marathon! Those of you that have been around for a while, you know getting here has been a bit of a challenge. This season comes with me being more “Intentional.”

Important to Note: This year, I am committed to sharing my fitness journey (every month) on my Blog (every 4th Tuesday/Thursday).

“Health & Fitness” is defined as;  A general state of health and well being. More specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily activities. Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate physical exercise and proper sleep. Some of the benefits that I have discovered in my own life are;

  1. I’m Happier (relieves stress)
  2. An Energy Boost
  3. Improved Memory

It’s not just about loosing weight for me, but more about maintaining a healthy lifestyle well into my 90s & beyond (smile).

We have to have faith in order for us to see the promises of God come to pass in our bodies. We also need to put into action what we know. Believe not only to be spiritually & mentally fit, but physically as well.
