For Me; 2018 was an Amazing Year for our family (not without it’s challenges) but full of amazing moments (like many of you, I’m sure)…. #yourperspectiveiskey

Last year’s (2018) journey was all about learning the importance of “Balance” & being “Intentional!”

Here are 10 lessons that I’ve learned in 2018

  1. Be Intentional! This is me committing to becoming a little more transparent on these blogs/VLOGs in 2019 (then I was in 2018). I believe our victory lies in our obedience to God, & His Word! I’m ready for more, & I believe it’s time to take on “New” territory for Christ! To be Intentional! It’s a #NewYear and it’s time for a #NewFocus and to gain #NewResults 
  2. Trust God More, Be Fearless! “Living Fearlessly, is not dependent upon the big risks you take..its best expressed by the small moments and little decisions you make each day to conquer your fears and become a better YOU”
  3. Balance! “There are many paths to living a balanced life.  A Christian perspective to having a balanced life begins by examining your relationship with God.” I heard it said once; The devil doesn’t care which side of the road he finds you on (either one will do). We can become so busy, doing this thing called life, that we miss out on the thing that is “The Most Important;” To Know God, & to Make Him Known (Our highest call). Value your alone time with God!
  4.  This online quote captured this lesson perfectly “LIVE for the praise of THE ONE rather than THE MANY.  If you LIVE for the PRAISE of people…you will DIE by their CRITICISM.” Social Media can be a beast! Likes are nothing more than one finding its worth in the approval of others! It’s not worth it. His (God) approval should be our aim, not theirs. #UntoYouOhLord
  5. Change is inevitable, Growth is Optional! “Change will require the perfect blend of Fatih and Action!”
  6. The power of prayer is life-changing. The more we reach out to God in prayer, the more we experience his transforming peace.
  7. Don’t force yourself to fit in where you don’t belong.
  8. The more we recognize who He is, what He’s done and what He’s up to we can’t help but respond in worship
  9. “Surround yourself with people that push you to do better. No drama, or negativity. Just higher goals and higher motivation. Simply bringing out the absolute best in each other.” Warren Buffet
  10. Live a life of purpose and passion of always moving forward. Make every one of your days on this earth count for the glory of God.

I’ve learned so many great lessons this past year, and am looking forward to learning more. #enjoyingthejourney #embracingthemoments

I’m grateful for all that God has done in 2018 and will do in 2019! I’m ready for more!
