On most mornings, you will find me up, & ready to start my day around 5am. I love mornings! #IAmAnEarlyBird That is when I am at my best. So (for me), the best use of my time is to schedule my day accordingly.

Mornings are my absolute favorite time of day to study the word of God and to Pray! In 2018, we (as a family) are stepping it up, going after God, loving and serving like never before. #Focused

In 2018, we will;

  • Believe More
  • Set Bigger Goals
  • Take More Risks
  • Give More, and More Often
  • Love More
  • Listen, Really Listen
  • Laugh More
  • Live in Excellence
  • And Walk With More Gratitude

We’re excited about the New! The new people we will meet! The new places we will go! The new revelations we will receive! And the new opportunities that will come (as we trust God to order our steps according to his plans and purposes for our lives). #livingsurrenderedlives #freshandfourishing

Golden Nuggets of Encouragement: Hubby was blessed with a new devotional for christmas, and I am loving it as much as he is. The Lord prompted me in my spirt to share today’s devotional, so here it goes…. I pray it blesses you as much as it has blessed me.

I am reminded of the importance of having great leaders, coaches and mentors in our lives( through this devotional). The ones that help bring out the best in us. We are blessed to have such people in our lives (quick shout out to our pastors, David & Kim Blunt on their Birthdays. We love and appreciate you both)

Everybody needs a coach. I realized that fact the other day when I was lying flat on my back doing reverse crunches. You see, without a coach, I wouldn’t do reverse crunches.

Tom Landry, the Dallas Cowboys head coach for nearly thirty years, said, “The job of a football coach is to make men do what they don’t want to do in order to achieve what they’ve always wanted to be. Additionally, we don’t always know what to change or even how to make the changes that are necessary to grow. Coaches can see the deficiencies and challenge us.

Proverbs 13:20 states, “Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble” Who we associate with informs what we become. If you want to be wise and excel, find someone who has been where you want to go. Look for Godly qualities in his life. When you find a coach, listen to him, and begin to implement his counsel. As you walk through life consider the company you keep, and make adjustments in those relationships so that nothing holds you back from becoming the man (or woman | it’s a devotional for men) God is calling you to be.

Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble. Proverbs 13:20

Be Intentional in 2018, and Remember, “Your Best Days Are Always Ahead!” #stayfocused
