What an incredible moment when we accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior! Our lives were forever changed from that moment on…..Hubby and I were so very young when we married (teenagers). In our early 20s, we re-dedicated our lives back to the Lord, and began the Journey of Putting Him (God) First!  As a young couple, newly saved (re-dedicated lives), we were eager to know how this all worked. And you may be asking the same questions, “How do we walk this thing out?”  and “How do we live in such a way that we impact, and leave a legacy for those in our circle of influence.”  We wanted so badly to make a difference in our local church, not only with our time, and our talent, but with our resources as well. #KingdomBuilders

But How? In our finances we had just enough to take care of our needs. It took humility to ask for, and receive help. #IncreaseYourKnowledge

Proverbs 11:14 says that, “Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.” Here’s how I interpret that: #Read #Study #Learn #Grow #&SurroundYourselfWithTheRightPeople Having faith alone is not enough, you have to work for it as well, and it may only take minor adjustments. James 2:17 says, “In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

Have hubby and I arrived? No Way!  But, we have been blessed to see some of our giving goals come to pass. We are still learning, and still growing! We have experienced hiccups in the road, but God! He is so very faithful, and patient with us #HisHumbleServants

He asked me to share a bit of our testimony on this week’s VLOG, so I did. Charlie Tremendous Jones said, “You will be the same person in five years as you are today except for the people you meet and the books you read.”  I learned the value of increasing my knowledge (through reading | right associations), and it has helped me to better serve my family, my church, and my community. Question: What books are you reading?

This month, I recommended the book, “Power Points for Increase” because I believed that it would be a blessing to you. There are 101 scripture-based principles in this book and it is a great read. My prayer is that it will bless you just as much as it has blessed me! To me, this quote sums it right up; “It’s common to find people who desire to improve their lives but don’t know exactly what to do and/or how, where and when to activate their plans. Whether you are one of them, or simply want to better your life, the stories and principles in this book can give you that needed direction.” Bob Harrison #HappyReading
