This past weekend at Church on The Rock was simply amazing. Every week, the services just keep getting better/from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). I am so thankful to be a part of a body of believers who cherishes, and loves the Lord with everything. I am surrounded by passionate believers, who enjoy The Word, Worship and Fellowship with one another just as much as I do. I consider it an Honor & Privilege to Serve along side such amazing individuals.

For the next 63 days, Pastor has challenged us to “make it a point to talk to the Holy Spirit everyday.” #GoodMorningHolySpirit and “For us to finish the year strong!” This morning’s quiet-time was just that, my appointment with the Holy Spirit. I love our Pastors.  Here are a few notes from this past weekend (also, I have included a video of the worship from this past Sunday/I love my spiritual family);

How to have close intimacy with the Holy Spirit

  • Talk to Him
  • Listen to Him
  • Obey Him

It begins with “The Fear of The Lord.” To Fear the Lord means to “Honor Him,” and to “Respect Him.”  We are to “Love what He loves and to Hate what He Hates (Love Righteousness)”  You can’t love the world and the things of this world and expect an intimate relationship with God….

“Stand strong and “Partner with the Holy Spirit.” Here are a few stages Pastor mentioned on Sunday;

  • Fellowship
  • Friendship
  • Partnership
  • Intimacy
  • Power

Scripture Reference;

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13:14 amp

My Takeaway: “Talk To, Listen To, & Obey” The message is simple, yet profound! Not, as easy, as it seems! Life comes at us fast and hard. The world is filled with busyness and we must fight for our time w/God! The headlines say so much, they speak to our need of Him. In this day and time, a relationship with Christ is Key! In raising our families, in living our best life, and making an impact. I need Him, what about you? #GoodMorningHolySpirit #INeedYourHelpToday Check out this quote from Pastor;

“Our vision is to teach the power and truth of God’s Word in a relevant, practical way. We believe that by understanding His Word, you and your family will live out God’s purpose for your life.” Pastor David Blunt
