Preparing my heart for tonight’s service, planning center on repeat, hands raised in total surrender, while tears are flowing freely! He is a God who continues to Amaze me! I am so grateful for His Unending, Unyielding love towards us all. It’s easy to love Him, and even easier to worship Him (my audience of one). I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in my local church, receive a word from God, and fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ!
Tonight, Pastor is teaching on “God’s Benefit, Healing,” and we’re singing one of my favorite worship songs’ Standing! As I sit here meditating on God Amazing Grace, and on His Healing mercies, I hear The Holy Spirit say, “It’s Already Done!” Healing in our bodies, healing in our emotions, healing in our finances, healing in relationships, and healing in our families, (It’s Already Done). Whatever it is that you need, reach out, grab it by the spirit and Receive It! It’s Already Done! #FaithForward2015 #ExpectBig
I remember when, years before, my oldest son (six at the time), suddenly became ill. I woke to a terrifying sound, jumped to my feet, and raced to his side. He was vomiting uncontrollably. I allowed my mind to believe the Worst. The doctor’s report came in, and confirmed it! This mother could barely keep it together at the time, but God!
He surrounded My husband and I with a body of believers who knew how to call upon the name of the Lord! We were in our mid-20s, and had just rededicated our lives back to the Lord, and became members of a great church called Wheaton Christian Center, with Pastor Carlton & Sheila Arthurs. They stood in agreement for our son’s Healing, his Divine Healing, and Received it! Our son, who could barely walk by this time, was taken in for an exploratory procedure. He was brought in by wheel chair, put under, hours later, walked out, singing, “Lift Him Up For The Battle has been won!” and it had been! His transformation was immediately evident! From that point on, there was a complete turn around in my sons health, God’s hand was upon Him. That entire ordeal lasted for about 4 months. #GreatGod
It was during this time that I became intimately aware of the importance of being apart of a local body of believers. When we heard that my husband’s job was moving us here to Missouri, our pastor, at the time, stood in agreement for the Lord to lead us in finding a church home. God answered and He brought us to Church on The Rock (A multi-Cultural, multi-generational, Powerful, Word-Based Church) We’ve been members of this great church for about 15 years now. God truly answers prayers! We love our church family!!!! #grateful
