One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in the past 5 months is the importance of nutrition. I’ve learned that, “Until you get your nutrition right, nothing is going to work” (weight-loss related). And, I’ve also discovered what “Health and Fitness” really look like (80% Eating Right | 20% Training).
As most of you know: In March, I began slowly but surely the journey from the “couch to the track” (after months of in-activity due to a severe asthma/allergy attack). God was indeed faithful, and I’ve seen restoration in my energy levels, not so much in my weight yet. I am not as young as I used to be, so every step, and every move needs to be intentional! #fitover40
I was putting in miles on the track, with no noticeable change. But, once I began implementing an eating plan, I began to see change. The medicine (allergies) I was taking back then, brought on nausea. Candy calmed it, but brought with it some unwanted consequences (so candy and that allergy medicine had to go | and so it did).
I am declaring “God’s Goodness” over my life (which includes my body). Remember, one of the Bible definitions of Goodness is “Prosperity” (Mind | Body | Spirit). What about you? How is your Fitness Journey going?
I’ve heard it said; “It’s not that we need another seminar/conference (on weight-loss) ,” but for some of us, what we really need is; “to implement what we have already learned!” #truth Be A Doer | Gain Results! “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 #UntoYouOhLord #FitForTheMastersUse
