When Fear Knocks Let Faith Answer. Be Fearless!
In the last days the Bible states (Luke 21), “ men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth..” and it also says, “So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!”
We don’t have to look very far to see why this is (the beginning verse). Today’s headlines speak volumes, “Gunman kills at least 26 in Attack on Rural Texas church,” “Las Vegas shooting, at least 59 dead!” If we are not careful, fear can creep up and overtake us. So what should our response be? The scripture tells us to “Look Up!” #FeedOnTheFaithfulnessOfGod #BeFearless Webster defines fearless as; “Without Fear; Bold or Brave!
Just a few days ago, I received a bad report concerning my mother’s health. She was rushed to the hospital, and admitted. I could feel the fear creeping in. To be without my mom, I thought, was more than I could bear. #FearKnockedButFaithAnswered I gave it to God! I shared my prayer request with a few friends, and went on with my day (knowing that my mother was safe in the Master’s Hand). My mom is now home and recovering. #GodIsFaithful I love that God is not surprised with our emotional responses, nor is He put off by them. He knows us, He created us after all. And, He can handle our emotions! His Word admonish us to allow “The Joy of The Lord to Be our Strength!”
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:2-3
