Our Priority Is His Presence! Lord. We Need You!
This week’s VLOG is all about Worship, and The Affect it has on our Quiet-Time. Our worship not only honors and magnifies God, but it is also for our own edification and strength. Worship helps us develop a God-like and Christ-like character. We become like unto those we admire and worship. When we worship God we tend to value what God values and gradually take on the characteristics and qualities of God, but never to His level. As Philippians 2:5 says, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ.” How do we take on the mind of Christ? In Romans 12:2 we read, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” We renew our mind as we study and meditate on God’s word and worship Him.
My Father died when I was very young, and his death left a void in my life. “I missed my Boom Boom!” It (his death) developed some really unhealthy emotions (outlook) in me. Being introduced to Christ, then later learning more about Him (Christ) changed my outlook, and gave me a new zeal for life and for God (My Heavenly Father). When you know that, “God Is For You,” It Changes You, and Transforms Your Outlook! #RenewYourMind
The devil has no new tricks! #NothingNew He tries to use situations, and circumstances to manipulate and control our emotions into believing that God doesn’t Loves Us, and that He isn’t For Us! Truth Is Always Revealed In His Presence. #Discernment Let me encourage you with this my friends, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 Remember, Your Best Days Are Always Ahead! God loves you, and He has a great plan for your life, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Something New: My voice a bit rusty (congested), but I wanted to share some of my favorite worship songs with you. In Last week’s VLOG we added a new segment, “Come Worship With Me?” It’s raw, candid, and behind the scenes!” Hope the songs bless you, as they have blessed me. To view last week’s VLOG, click here
This Month’s Book Recommendation is, “A Search For Significance” Robert McGee I read this book several times, and am currently re-reading it with our leadership book-study group in the Creative Arts Department at our church.
Robert McGee’s best-selling book has helped millions of readers learn how to be free to enjoy Christ’s love while no longer basing their self-worth on their accomplishments or the opinions of others. In fact, Billy Graham said that it was a book that “should be read by every Christian.”
