For most, 2016 was a banner year of both challenges and triumphs alike. We persevered through the difficult times learning some very valuable life lessons, while also enjoying many victories as the year progressed. #Perspective
At the start of the year(2016), remember when you were pumped and excited about your goals? Life happened, and your excitement waned. But now, this year (2017) you are determined to Crush It! #DreamBig God has a great plan for your life! Jeremiah 29:11
This week’s blog, “How to crush your goals in 2017” is meant to motivate, encourage and inspire you along the way. #TuesdayBlogRelease Welcome! Here are a few questions to ask yourself when preparing to crush it (notes from my morning study);
- Who am I?
- What is it that I truly want or desire?
- What is my purpose in life (or better yet, “How Can I Serve?’)
- What am I grateful for?
These questions are a great foundation and starting point for setting goals that are meaningful and worthwhile. I’m excited about 2017, and am looking forward to Crushing my goals, and seeing all that the Lord has for us. What about you?
Daily | Weekly| Monthly Habits:
- Write down your goals.
- Train Your Mind, Think Positive
- Prioritize
- Be specific
Ask “How will I accomplish my goals?” What are the steps you need to take to make your dreams a reality? Make a list of all the avenues (classes | seminars) and connections (books | mentors) you can go through to make it happen.
Share your goals (but only to those that support you wholeheartedly). Get feedback on your ideas. Ask your good friends and family for their suggestions. Ask them to hold you accountable and check in for updates on your path towards completion.
Believe. If you can ‘see’ it, you can ‘be’ it. Know that ANYTHING is possible and don’t let negative thinking or anything else get in your way. #CrushIt #NoLimitsCOTR
A Word of Appreciation: I am so looking forward to hearing about, and even seeing your dreams come to life in 2017! Our best days are Always Ahead, and I believe that we are in for an Amazing Journey This Year! I have a notebook full of Goals, and Dreams (and I am sure you do, as well). I believe this year is going to be Epic for so many of us believers.
This blog, “A Journal of Love” was revamped 2 years ago today, and it has been a huge blessing for me to be apart. I am forever grateful for all of your feedback (texts, calls, and private messages). I started blogging over 7 years ago (following a prompting from the Holy Spirit), in 5 years the site stats recorded only 2,000 visitors. In 2015, the Lord prompted me in my spirit, to revamp the site (with a renewed since of purpose). And from there; (2015) 26,971 visitors, (2016), 28,432 visitors and so far, only 17 days into the New Year (2017), and already we’ve seen 1,700 visitors with lots of post, re-post, private messages, texts, and so on…. We’ve come a long way baby (smile), and I remain super excited about this Journey! Note: Those numbers don’t even begin to reflect the readerships (It’s in the 100,000s). #WowGod
