Some may ask, why “The Love Message?” My answer is found simply in today’s headlines! My heart aches as I see the divisions/devastation that invades our families, communities, and our nation. So much so that I choose to turn it off, and turn on the Truth! Truth/Solutions that can only be found in God’s Word (The Bible)! A Heart Full of Love, is A Heart Full of Jesus #Relationship
The Bible says;
“Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail].Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].
Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away.” 1 Corinthians 13 4-8
After the attack on France, I changed my profile picture in support, and to encourage prayer. I was met with some very interesting criticism. My response, Love. Love makes it easy to pray for/serve others (not to be so Me-focused). When I pray, I pray across color lines!!!! As a believer, I am praying for all of the loss, devastation, and violence that exists all over. Our enemy is not another individual, another race, nor is it another country. Our enemy is sly, and cunning and he comes to bring division and to separate (John 10:10). 1 Peter 5:8 says to, “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.”
