All month long, you guessed it, we are delving into the topic of “Wisdom (Godly).” Our sub-topics include; in relationships, in decisions, and my personal favorite… in our self-care (fitness update).
This week’s topic; “In Relationships.”
The relationships we develop with fellow believers in the Lord Jesus Christ have far greater meaning and depth than we are able to comprehend with our finite minds. When we understand the eternal longevity of godly relationships, then we will cherish and value these relationships even more — and they will enhance our relationship with our Heavenly Father. #IronSharpensIron
In my own life, I have found that, in relationships, there are those that have helped to move me closer and those that have helped to move me farther away from God, and His purpose for my life! Some years back, we moved away from the comfort of friends, family and our church (spiritual family), unto a very unfamiliar place. I, felt isolated and a bit alone. There was not a friendly face in sight. I longed to return to that which was familiar, but found God’s purpose for our family was not behind, but instead it was Ahead! I can be a bit shy, and reserved when you first meet me (so making new friends can a bit awkward). #realtalk Maybe, it was due to the trauma I experienced growing up (the loss of one loved one after another- beginning with my dad | my boom-boom), or maybe something else, not sure!
