There are three types of people.
- Those who make things happen
- Those who watch things happen
- Those who wonder what happen
Question; which are you?
God prompted me in my spirit to be a person who does not live by default, but lives by decision (intention). To be a person who determines that I will do what it takes to know Him (God) better and love Him more, so that He can work in me to become more Christlike. #Impact Our spiritual growth requires an intentional effort. Spiritual stagnation and decline require no effort at all. #Flourish2017
All month long, we are talking about “Power Points for Increase,” based on a book by Bob Harrison (Dr Increase). This week’s blog is about Intention! Here are a few of my notes from this week’s study:
Intention + Mechanism = Results (A formula taught by Brian Klemmer}
Power Points #36 “Determine that the thing shall be done, and then (you) shall find the way.” Abraham Lincoln
Brian maintains that the key to making things happen is for one to change focus. Instead of concentrating solely on the “how to (mechanism), put the focus and energies on the hunger/desire (intention). When someone’s intention to do something is strong enough, the various mechanisms will begin to be manifested.
Brian teaches that “one way to raise the intensity of your intention is visualization. To achieve your goal of creating something new, you must surround yourself with pictures of the desired finished state. That will cause your sub-conscious to work on creating mechanisms to raise money to achieve your goal.”
Using the above formula can help you to unlock the powerful potential of your subconscious and accomplish what may seem impossible or insurmountable.
Power-Point Question: What can you do to increase your intention?
Scripture Reference: “Write the vision, and make it plain.” Habakkuk 2:2
