Woke up this morning with a word from the Lord on my heart. He said, “Shine, and Shine Brighter.” I knew immediately (an inward witness), that it was a word he wanted me to share in this week’s blog. Check it out…

Maybe our sparkle comes from somewhere deeper inside, somewhere so pure and authentic and REAL, it doesn’t need gloss or polish or glitter to shine.” Mandy Hale
I believe true Shine comes from within and is rooted and based in a relationship with The King of Kings, and The Lord of Lords. A True, Authentic, Shine comes from knowing Who, and Whose you are! “Fearfully, and Wonderfully Made….” (Psalms 149:13)
When we shine light – when we let our light shine bright – God sends it into dark places. We may not even know the distance that our light will shine. He will send it far and he will send it wide. Our job is to keep our eyes on him and trust him as we let him lead. People will judge us, but his truth (His Word, The Bible) will lead us – it will set us free.
Matthew 4:14-16 NIV says, “You are the light of the world…let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
This week’s blog is all about you, and about encouraging you to get out there and shine for Jesus. With all that is going on in this world, we need more, not less bright lights impacting our nation.
